Mentioning essence of the tagline line from the movie 3 Idiots ‘Kabil bano beta kamyabhi jhak maar ke tum hare pass ayegi’, Indian author Chetan Bhagat, an IIM graduate, has shared his CBSE Class 10 mark-sheet with this special message.
“My class X mark sheet. Aggregates to 76%. I remember how powerful this piece of paper felt. I was 15, but written off – as the average student. Today, this is irrelevant. And I’m glad I didn’t let this affect my belief in my capabilities. No one piece of paper can define you,” he tweeted.
Bhagat’s tweet comes at time when students are enquiring about admission in different schools, colleges and universities.
Bhagat, considered as youth icon, is a screenwriter, television personality and motivational speaker, known for his Indian-English novels about young urban middle class Indians.
This apart, Bhagat also writes columns on youth, career development and current affairs for The Times of India (in English) and Dainik Bhaskar (in Hindi). His novels have sold over seven million copies. In 2008, The New York Times cited Bhagat as “the biggest selling English language novelist in India’s history”. He was included in Time magazine’s list of World’s 100 Most Influential People in 2010.
