She was born in Pathankot, Punjab, India on August 31, 1983. She received a degree in Electrical engineering from the Punjab College of Engineering & Technology in Chandigarh. After five years as an engineer, she decided to pursue her passion for makeup and transformations by enrolling in the Los Angeles Cinema Makeup School to study prosthetic makeup.
Career
Mark D’Souza and Preetisheel founded the Mumbai-based hair, cosmetics, and prosthetics company ‘Da cosmetics Lab’ together.
Her first solo effort, “Nanak Shah Fakir” (2015), for which she won a National Award in 2016 was her first solo effort.
